Some of the poorest people in our community are Senior Citizens. Beginning a ministry, designed especially for the unique needs of these precious people, was divinely appointed for South Side Mission.
First, through prayer, we identified the need and the calling to serve.
Then, we hired an on-fire-for-God Registered Nurse to head up this brand new ministry.
Finally, we are seeking support and volunteers to heed the call to help through basic health screenings, needed home repairs, scam protection, food baskets, and lining up resources that can help these folks out.
They've given us a lifetime. Played by the rules. Cared for our families. Taught us Sunday school and how to be good neighbors...it's time to return the favor.
