Hello from the Lighthouse on Laramie! You're visiting a place of hope! We are Peoria's oldest rescue ministry, serving the poor since 1925. Our mission is "to preach the Good News of Jesus Christ to the poor, and in His name to love, feed, house, clothe, and teach all those people He sends to us." From our homeless shelter to youth ministries & career training, we are changing the future for thousands of people each year by bringing to life the awesome love of Christ. Caring for the poorest of our community, younger and older, we become the hands and feet of God; offering what they need and earning the right to share our Savior.
