Summer Staff Information
Is God calling you to accomplish something special this summer? Are you seeking a summer job where you can really make a difference in someone's life? Do you have a heart for sharing God's love with underprivileged children? If you answered YES to these questions, you have come to the right place!
Camp Kearney is a ministry of the South Side Mission of Peoria, Illinois. Since the 1960's, Camp Kearney has offered a Christian based camping program to the poor and needy children of Peoria and central Illinois. Only 17 miles from the city of Peoria, Camp Kearney is located on 155 picturesque acres, filled with the beauty of God's creation.
Each summer, Camp Kearney hires young people ages 18 years and older who will play an essential part in sharing the love of Christ with the children during our 10-week summer program.
All meals and lodging are provided for summer staff throughout the length of the summer program for staff. Staff are also given an opportunity to earn an end of the summer bonus through our Missionary Support Program.

1 female counselor - $230/week
